Participated in the Cologne♥₽ Baby Products Exhibiti∞εon in September.
In September this year, I attended σ the baby products exhibition in Colo↑→ gne, Germany. The company'∏≈✔™s promotional materials, regular pro≥<₹duct price lists, sampleε∑'₩s, business cards, a l≠♦ist of clients who would visit our>δδ booth, notebooks, calculato↔↓'Ωrs, staplers, pens, tape, p™π$ower strips, etc. Everything w↕as quite well prepared£★, but the shortcomin←∏±g was that I wasn't vε≤∞ery accurate in judging how many b↔✘rochures would be needed at the exhibit♠≤φ ion. The current Chinese textil÷♦®e industry has entered a new normalφα' of slowing growth. A relevant "×'✘official from the China ©ΩNational Textile and Apparel Council aδ₹≥nalyzed to reporters on the 4&'™th that the current development ™©mainly presents three c∏δ♣σharacteristics: slowing growth ra♥↑• te, increasing developm↕× ent pressure, and urgent tran♥γβsformation of driving forces. In¥εφ 2014, the Chinese textile i±™ndustry experienced some new changes, ♦γwith the overall market env¥$> ironment of the industry not being iδ¥ →deal. The economic growth of t→☆•he industry is stabilizing but sl¥±owing down, and the main ₩ economic growth indicators of enterprisβ∞es above designated size have✔• decreased to single-digit growth,↔Ω leading to significantγ☆♠ operational pressure on companies. A©¶dditionally, China's texti₹≤♣le and apparel imports ®δand exports experienced negative growt"♦h in the first month ®of 2015.
In the first half of this y<≥♣ear, the industrial added value of× ★ large-scale textile enterprises in Fu¥γjian Province increased by 11.4% yea→™ββr-on-year, which is 4.6 percen±×♠tage points higher t πβ♦han the national average in the ₹→same industry. Facing issues such®✔< as global textile overcapacity, reduce≤ ✔d domestic and international mark÷♣ et demand, and increasingly r→Ωising labor costs and difficulties i←≥∏ n recruitment, the text ☆εile industry, as a representative o$≈f labor-intensive industries, is encoun±♣tering development bot©π'tlenecks.
The international mark ¶× et is sluggish, and dome↓γ↓stic market demand is shrinking, mak★εΩing this year's textile busiφ←×ness difficult. In recent ye₽♠δars, more and more international fas✔¥hion brands have begun to shift the♥πir fabric procurement t₹•×Ωargets to the China Textile Cit™←y located in Keqiao, Shaoxing Co♦σ∞×unty. However, compared to first-t₽ε↑<ier cities like Shanghai "∞Ωand Guangzhou, the fabric prices in th€÷®≈e Textile City are relatively low↔§er, and product homogeneity φ₹™¥is one of the reasons.®"λ€ "Many fabrics from Shaoxing Count₹≈y's textile enterprises have a©γ₩ high repetition rate and similari♣™≤ty. The sluggish textile indu§±$Ωstry has put domestic cotton policies β£λin a dilemma.
For the cotton market, in a≠>ddition to external pressures, there€×ε™ are various difficulties that are↔÷↑♦ hard to articulate. Firstly, we±↑☆±ak downstream textile consumption glob"≤₽ ally has led to high in₽σ±ventory levels. Regarding the predictα€ions for production, sales, a$₹£πnd inventory data, the₽δ USDA and the International Cotton A♣♠dvisory Committee have different s¶Ω☆ tatistical approaches, but their$±' views are generally c✘σ onsistent. Since 2012, the USDA has re®™peatedly made significant→λ↔ upward adjustments to inventory ∏< ↕data in its monthly supply and de&€≈mand reports. The forecast for glo₩✘bal inventory of 13.2₩™32 million tons in the February supply$σ and demand report was adjus✘₩ted to 13.569 million tons in the March∞φ report, and then to ÷>the April supply andσ✔ demand report.
